WHAT WE DO
PEACE BUILDING
Our approach focuses on both preventing and resolving conflict. We train youth leaders, women groups, and community representatives in mediation, non-violent communication, and leadership skills, enabling them to address disputes before they escalate. Young people are empowered to lead peace initiatives, becoming active champions for unity in their communities.
Through partnerships with local authorities, civil society organizations, and humanitarian agencies, we support structures that promote justice, equality, and inclusion. We also run awareness campaigns on tolerance and peaceful coexistence to challenge stereotypes and reduce discrimination.
Revolving microloan
We empower young entrepreneurs through our Community-Based Revolving Microloan program—a sustainable financial support system designed to promote entrepreneurship and economic growth within refugee and host communities.
This initiative provides small loans to aspiring young business owners, enabling them to start or expand income-generating activities. Unlike traditional loans, our microloans are part of a revolving fund: beneficiaries repay the loan over an agreed period, and those repayments are then loaned out to the next group of entrepreneurs. This cycle ensures continuous access to capital without relying on external funding or profit for the organization.
STORY TELLING SESSIONS
We recognize the transformative power of storytelling as a tool for healing, connection, and empowerment. Our Storytelling Sessions provide refugees and host community members a safe, supportive space to share their personal experiences, hopes, and dreams.
These sessions are designed to celebrate diverse voices and preserve cultural heritage while fostering empathy and understanding between communities. By giving individuals the opportunity to tell their stories, we help build bridges across divides and promote social cohesion.
BUSINESS Management and financial literacy
We understand that strong business skills and financial knowledge are essential for young entrepreneurs to succeed and sustain their ventures. Our Business Management and Financial Literacy program equips refugees and host community members with practical tools to effectively start, manage, and grow their businesses.
The program covers key topics such as budgeting, record-keeping, marketing, customer service, and business planning. Participants learn how to track income and expenses, manage cash flow, and make informed decisions that enhance profitability and sustainability.
